I managed to get in talk with about 8 major PTC investors, 6 which have invested over $15,000 into Bux.to and remaining 2 that have invested over $1,000 in NeoBux. I’d like to thank them for their time in answering the questions.
Privately all of them are 99.95% certain that the PTC industry will financially be bust before 1st February 2009, and the dates come from the predicted heavy cash flow problems by governments and companies. They said Bux.to will not close down, but will face much bigger issues and over 90% of it’s users will not be able to receive their long awaited payment after all. But, Bux.to have a legitimate backup of stating “You agreed to our Terms.” just like Buxout. Except, we all knew Bux.to was a screwup - they just never gave up. If they were earning so much and their members were aswell, they would be on Wall Street Journal or New York Times. Heck, they’re already on TechCrunch being critized extremely bad by one of their writers writing about the system aspect is no way acceptable and will possibly never work. Sounds horrific, but he’s definately right about all of it.
NeoBux, handling over 60% of the PTC market are the number one leader because Bux.to have faced a huge fall in the past 3 months, losing over 80% of their traffic and only left by the ones who invested all they had. Unfortunately, they’re no longer available to claim that money - they just want to keep their hopes up. But, religious purposes can’t help them this time (because they’d never get a miracle from Bux.to). Back to NeoBux, they have supported a long journey and have a lot of security backing them up because they can afford it. Yet, it’s the only PTC service that have “planned” things out since the beginning - faith is the way.
But, weither we like or not the PTC industry is going to go down. We can invest all we want, but we’ll still not get enough. Why? I’ll explain.
Advertisers - Companies are going bust, so advertisers have already spent all of their budget on the big names such as Facebook, DoubleClick and Adsense. Little advertisements will roll in here and there, but PTC traffic is so depressing for advertisers they’ve gone to the high charging ads because they get them a turnover faster and easier (and even cheaper in the long run!). God forbid the advertisers at NeoBux right now, I don’t think they’re making money at all. People are broke after christmas, so they got absolutely nothing to buy (and they’re not going to sell their loved belongings for a few cent).
Apart from the advertisers, it’s the people. They can’t afford anything, and that means the site will lack of revenue. They’ll expect more revenue from what they’ve already earnt - which they won’t earn. If you don’t invest the sites will go bust, and if you invest you won’t make as much money back and the site may possibly last a little bit longer. But, since NeoBux has millions of earners it’s got a lot to serve before they get anywhere.
Don’t get me wrong, PTC is good in it’s own ways. But, they will have to be very limited to surpass this crisis and I have a strong feeling that it isn’t going to be good.
The worse time is yet to come. A new year it will be, 2009. Twisted Organisations Opposing Nobody (TOON - Letters of the new year) Credits to the creator of the tagline and investors).
